3D SpaceShip progress

Alright, It’s a heck of a while since my last post so here I am.

I am currently working on a 3D model of a space ship that will be Open Sourced when I finish it. (In other words, it will be for free downloads and loyalty free for use.)

It’s roughly around 1/4th done (Yes I have high standards)

and I am using only 1 texture

Random photographic moment?

So for some reason I had the urge to take a photograph of my Konami Microphone that I use for recording vocals and occasionally guitars. With some digital editing in photoshop (HDR toning and color correction) I came up with this nice photography piece.
I think the editing went pretty well and it gave me that warm feeling that most singers get when they see a microphone. Who knows what else I could have done with this pic, but I like it as it is.

Motion tracking

I’m just getting into motion tracking now and it kinda started off being a pain but I think it might turn out very well once the end result is completed. This is my first time ever doing motion tracking so this ought to be interesting. Not to mention I have only used after effects probably about only 2 times. D:
I’ll be sure to post the final products once it is finished

This is pretty hard to admit

Keeping most of the graphics I do simple is the hardest thing I have yet to conquer. More than likely, this is due to the fact that I have a deep passion for high contrasted images with a lot going on in them. (Hence, probably why I’m not much of a business logo designer.)

While this isn’t my most recent works, I had a lot of fun designing this piece of art. The problem was, it took me some will power to say “Put the breaks on the effects.” There is so much more I could have added to this but like they say, “Sometimes more is less.” Overall, I am very satisfied with this and it is most certainly portfolio worthy to show to a potential client as far as my skills in Photoshop editing goes.

As long as everything is in a orderly fashion, I think I’ll be able to manage.

This one was extremely hard to keep the effects down to a minimum because of how much potential the original picture had. I could have added effects to the back of her and had them integrate with the violin, but it took me some time to realize that would only detract from the  goal. In which was to show the true emotions that are conveyed through the viola. So, I concentrated the effects on that long piece of “what ever it is called” and went from there.
It came out very nice and the lady was extremely
pleased with the results.

The Grid

Back at the motion graphics and got a “Tron Grid” inspiration tied into it. This thing took around 28 hours to render, but only took probably 3-4 hours to make it.
